PROVERBS.
The book of Proverbs was written by Solomon and others. ( see Proverbs 1:1, and 10:1 )
Two women were arguing over a baby. Solomon said, "cut the infant in two and each may have the child." The real mother said "no let her have the child", the other said "yes, cut the child in two", thus Solomon knew the real mother by her love. ( see I Kings 3:16-28 )

It teaches them to trust God..."Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths"(Proverbs3:5,6)
increase in wisdom..."Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom, with all thy getting get understanding"(Proverbs 4:7)
to be diligent at work..."He that gathereth in the summer is a wise son, but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame. (Proverbs 10:5 )

and advises them to avoid envy..."A sound heart is the life of the flesh, but envy the rottenness of the bones"(Proverbs 14:30)
gossip..."A froward man soweth strife; and a whisperer separateth chief friends"(Proverbs 16:28)
..............."A tale bearer revealeth secrets; but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter"(Proverbs 11:13)
adultery..."For the lips of a strange woman drop as a honeycomb,and her mouth is smoother than oil:But her end is as bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two edged sword..."(Proverbs 5:3,4)
violence..."Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. ..For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence. But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day."(Proverbs 4:14-18)
They are taught to seek refuge in God..."The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe." (Proverbs 18:10)

The last chapter of Proverbs describes the virtuous woman..."Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies..."(Proverbs 31:10-31)

Solomon, during his reign, built and dedicated the Temple at Jerusalem...
"...behold the heaven, and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have built?" ( I Kings 8:27 )
